Langham Place’s Foundation

Hisory & Vision

Langham Place was established over 20 years ago with a clear ambition: to deliver high-quality construction and management services across the UK. From our roots in traditional contracting, we have grown into a trusted partner for both public and private sector clients—delivering everything from new-build developments to the careful restoration of historic and listed buildings.
Our evolution has been defined by a commitment to quality, integrity, and continuous improvement. By maintaining a skilled in-house construction team, we offer a level of quality control, attention to detail, and accountability rarely found in firms of similar scale. Whether working independently or in joint venture, our focus remains the same—delivering excellence through collaborative, client-focused delivery.
Our vision is to be the preferred construction partner for complex and high-value projects, known for our integrity, technical expertise, and commitment to long-term value. We aim to raise the standard for delivery in our industry, championing thoughtful innovation while maintaining an unwavering dedication to quality and service.

Values & Culture

At Langham Place, our culture is built on trust, accountability, teamwork, and craftsmanship. These values guide how we engage with clients, collaborate with partners, and support our people. We believe in doing things the right way—with transparency, respect, and pride in our work.
Our in-house team fosters a culture of reliability and shared purpose, ensuring that every project benefits from consistent quality and open communication. We value partnerships and understand that successful outcomes are built on collaboration—not only within our team, but across the full design and delivery chain.
We are also future-focused, embracing innovation not for novelty, but for genuine improvements in safety, efficiency, and sustainability. By creating a working environment that encourages responsibility, adaptability, and technical excellence, we continue to build a business—and a legacy—that stands the test of time.

He was later headhunted by Hill Partnerships as a Contract/Design Manager, overseeing new build and refurbishment projects across resi dential and commercial sectors.
In 2007, he became Construction Manager for Mansell’s Partnership Housing team, where he led a £50M turnover team before joining Swan New Homes to deliver 300+ homes annually. In 2015, he founded Langham Place and CX Utilities, later expanding into renewables with CX Group. Three businesses were acquired by RSK in 2023, with Paul remaining Director of CX Utilities.
He also launched Just One More (2021), investing in Colchester properties, and Ipswich Mill Investments (2024), acquiring The Mill in Ipswich.

Langham Place is a Contractor that Champions Safety

At Langham Place, the safety, health, and well-being of everyone involved in our projects is our highest priority. Our operations are underpinned by a deep commitment to protecting our people, our supply chain partners, the public, and the environments we work in. We embed a safety-first mindset at every level of our business, reinforced by clear procedures, regular training, and a culture of accountability.
Our policies and practices are fully aligned with the UK Health & Safety at Work Act, CDM Regulations, and all other relevant legislative and regulatory standards. We maintain robust systems for risk assessment, incident reporting, and compliance auditing, and we constantly review and evolve our procedures to ensure industry-leading performance.
We take a proactive approach to managing risk by integrating digital platforms and on-site controls to track, monitor, and improve safety performance across all sites. Our project teams—including supply chain partners and subcontractors—are fully inducted into our safety culture, ensuring that all site personnel understand their responsibilities and are empowered to speak up and take action when needed.
Our focus is on the prevention of accidents and incidents, not just their management. We believe every person has the right to return home safely at the end of each day. That’s why we foster a collaborative site environment where mutual respect and shared accountability drive safe outcomes for all.
At Langham Place, safety isn’t a checkbox—it’s a core value. Through rigorous standards and a united team approach, we deliver projects that are not only successful, but safe and sustainable for everyone involved.
